gets his 3 game ban that rules him out of the group stages at Euro 2012, should Fabio leave him at home?

For me he wouldn't be in the team anyway. Not only has he proven himself once again to be a liability, but if you actually look at his record for England, it's piss poor.

Aside from one goal each in friendlies against Argentina and Holland, the 'best' team he's scored against in a competative game is Croatia, both times when we tonked them. The remainder of his list is made up of glorious strikes against the likes of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Andorra. 4 goals in 21 appearances, going back almost two and a half years.

Any other striker would get crucified for a record like that.

Feel a bit sorry for him though. His Dad got arrested the day before, everyone is forgetting that. Capello should never have played him.

Bless him. Maybe his Dad shouldn't be crooked then?

It really wasn't that bad. He hardly touched him and the guy fell over as if he was shot. 3 match ban is a bit harsh. 2 matches would have been fairer. But maybe its what England need. They always go into the group stages of major competitions thinking it's their birth right to qualify. Now they'll have to work for it. Could be good for em.

It was violent conduct. 3 game ban.

Marvellous to see him with his balls chopped off. Got what he deserves.

More importantly Republic of Ireland have got the best possible draw for the play offs :Hoorah :Hoorah Might just manage that without Keane and Doyle

This was from the BBC website this morning. Made me laugh. :*:

'Former Manchester United and England right-back Gary Neville has called Wayne Rooney "an absolute banker" for England's Euro 2012 squad despite his three-match ban.'
