I'm a long time fan of Chris Isaak but have only just discovered his great version of 'I'm so lonesome I could cry' (from a movie soundtrack) that struck me as very similar in style to our own Mr Hawley's version.

It's got to be one of the most covered songs eh? Elvis did a nice version too. You should hear my version 8) only three chords and I can still f*ck it up :oops:

Issak has a cool retro style that is never kitsch or corny because he's so talented at what he does. He had been doing the twangy-echo thing long before David Lynch made him famous with Wicked Game.
