Hola! It's been a long time without posting here... The program for the festival has already announced the distribution of days and Richard will be playing on the 3rd of June, last day of the festival, a free show on the streets of Barcelona. The line up this year is great but in case you're only travelling for Richard, there's no need to buy tickets, just get there early as I assume it will be pretty crowded!!!

Many of the concerts in the festival will be broadcast in the Festival's YouTube channel. It seems Richard's won't be one of them, because they talk about 'the tree main days of the event' (from the 31st to the 2nd), and that leaves Richard's show on the 3rd out. I don't think this will change, but just in case someone feels like checking whether something happens in that YouTube channel on Sunday at 22:30...

(Here's a picture of where Richard will be playing, in the centre of Barcelona.)

As the date draws near, I'm more and more angry not to be able to attend. If only it had been one week later! Let's keep our fingers crossed so he'll be coming back to Spain soon.

From Twitter a quote from Richard at the gig "sorry I can't stand I've broken my fookin' leg".

That was amazing! When they ended with The Ocean, I remembered the other show at the Primavera Sound some years ago, which was magical too with the sea behind.
That is only my 2nd gig and I think the new songs are beautiful live. I'm gonna check the tour dates, I'd love not to have to wait for another 6 years!
Hope the leg gonna get well soon. Thanks to Mister Hawley!

This review says that the previous storms and the fact that Richard went on stage on a wheelchair (owing to a broken ankle) didn't forebode a good concert. But they say afterwards that it was a brilliant show, and that Richard's solo in 'The Ocean' was masterly.

However, this guy doesn't seem to have enjoyed the concert so much. It seems the sound wasn't as good as it should have been (he says Richard's voice couldn't be heard clearly, and that the bass boomed too much). Besides, it seems that all the people coming and going, beer vendors and such, didn't help.

Here you've got a big photograph. They say that Richard was 'relaxed (sitting all the time)'.

The only video of mine worth uploading, and unfortunately the sounds gets a bit tough in some parts... Funny moment when Richard seeks for some assistance at the beginning (and not to request painkillers as I thought first... You'll see!). What a great way to finish the show!!!
