Off to Ukraine today for the footie. For two more days than i planned, due to Air Baltic cancelling my flight back.having to stay an extra night in Odessa and one in Riga.Ho hum!!Really looking forward to the trip, but also bricking it knowing my history of getting pissed and finding unsavory action.Wish me luck.

Quick update on Dickies tour of europe.

On the way to the hotel from the airport in Odessa, Dickie managed to loose the tickets for the match.... and this is only the first day.

fortunately after much rooting around in a bin looking for the taxi info, he managed to find the taxi driver and got them back. What a plonka.

I am firmly at the bottom of the whole lot and am puzzled why my almost random selection of players and those with links in some convoluted sense to Sunderland isn't reaping great rewards. Also I am sick of playing against Average, I hate them

I'm disappointed that Italy didn't win. I daren't speak to my Mum today, she is Italian and a fanatical football supporter. They did well to get to the final, but Spain were so much better. :(

I wanted Italy to win. Was never going to happen after the first few minutes but if I gambled ( which I don't because I have the sort of addictive personality that would become a compulsive gambler) I would have put a few bob on Italy - but to win, not each way, which would not have been wise. So I haven't lost any of the money that I wouldn't have put on anyway :?
