I am coming next friday to the gig in Brussels, in fact it will the 6th time I can see you perform.
Will it be much different than earlier this year in Brussels ? And now without a broken leg, I suppose ?
By the way have you picked up your bottle of Westmalle beer already ?

Absolutely fabulous footage Denise - almost as good as being there! I love the 'off piste' bit in the middle of 'Before'!

We were thinking of slowing down on the concert front, don't want to be the oldest swingers in town and all that, until we saw a young lady that must have been eighty at RH's concert on Friday. She did not stop and knew every track...... and stood all night:shock:

The crowd loved RH and his music,at one stage everyone just kept applauding and just would not stop,it was fantastic and as usual Richard had his banter with them which they loved.
A couple of songs had the little add ins, Before was excellent,( I like that video in black & white Denise). The band looked like they enjoyed it and Shez was bouncing around a fair bit. Good stuff all round.

Found a great bar called BOOZE'N BLUES after,it was a nut house and the governor was a right good character, had an old juke box and everyone was of their heads, not just on drink either :D

Great concert, great time and great beer... its so strong!! Now...whats the most economical way to get to Aus'?

Hola!!!
Before I tell you about Richard’s concert in Barcelona yesterday (yeaaahhhh), I’d like to add some comments to the great show at the Ancienne Belgique a few weeks ago. I have been travelling and then gone back straight to work so I really forgot to post any comments about it!
The first thing I remember is that it was maybe too loud (really, it’s a complaint, but the sound was excessively loud), and I was not standing too close to the front so it was a quite annoying… Besides that, the band played wonderfully, the venue was packed and the audience enjoyed right from the start! I loved listening again to the new songs live, they sound perfect and so alive!!! And from older material, my favourites were “Soldier On” (I was left just speechless with the in crescendo of the music, guitar playing and lovely singing), “Open Up Your Door” (which stands as one of my top favourites) and the really long mantra of “Remorse Code” was stunning! And my last complaint: I missed listening to “The Ocean” as it was unfortunately not played…
It will also be remembered as the most radical English lesson ever (especially to a poor lad or lass in the audience), after a naïve question made to the band (“Where did you went?”) that got Richard’s reaction as an unexpected pretty tough grammar teacher! I’m just kidding, Mr. Hawley… it was real fun!!!!

My first RH gig, beautiful!

Just a note to Cristina: you must have left early because they did play The Ocean! It was the last song, as usual apparently.

And a note to Mr Hawley or anyone in the know: Mr Hawley said the show was being filmed. I didn't see cameras though, was it filmed for inclusion on a forthcoming dvd or was it filmed by the venue?
I know they sometimes film gigs and put them online (http://abconcerts.be/fr/abtv/p/concerts).

D
