Very sorry to hear about your uncle........I listened to an amazing show on late night radio 4 about an American who lived in New Guinea they never,up until recent setting up Big Mac,Bk,KFc etc and modern western diets and lifestyles encountered strokes, heart attacks or cancer it's all to with our salt intake which is massive,I forget the name of it I think it was called the world until yesterday........most of it was sort of obvious that we've known for years but good to reminded of the crazy unhealthy way we live,

And now back topless hendo's at Roehampton xx

I'm so pleased you've given up the cigs Richard. I lost my partner of 25 years to lung cancer, almost certainly due to smoking - like many folks I'm sure. I remember in the preceding years that dreadful chest infections were always occuring. Then on here every winter you were telling us how, once again, you'd got yet another chest infection or bronchitis & I started thinking ''oh fuck''. Thinking about your family and, selfishly, myself.
I suppose I have a strangely limited circle of people who mean anything to me; whether I know them well, or know them a little, or know them for something that they do that I enjoy & appreciate. I didn't want to think I could lose another one of those 'hand picked' people from my life. So, as I say, I'm pleased you've given up, because I know it's not an easy thing to do - in ways I can't fully understand, not having smoked myself - and I know you'll feel so much better for it. ..> Apologies for the embarrassing ramble  I'll shut up now

Oh yes, Henderson's Relish - only tried it a couple of times & liked it. Subtler flavour than the sauce that must not be named here :silent:

I do feel responsible for this whole sorry mess. I brought up the unmentionable and for that I apologise. The forum rules are very clear and I did not take heed of them and proceeded to use abusive language. Although the forum rules do not specify specific blasphemy I take them to mean the dark, weird and deeply unsettling red and white 'half' - sorry- 'minority' of the city and the dead anchovies sauce. Forgive me.

Now Richard's famous and all, It's about time he launched his own perfume range like Paris Hilton. But what would it smell of? Hendersons of course! Just bought myself a litre of Eau de Hawley off the Hendersons website...

Jane Birkin did one that smelt of 'leather and cigars' - gi'or sounds more fags and roadies armpits. There'll be a market for it... ;)

I've not heard anyone say Gi'or! - as in 'Give over!' - for years. My old man used to say it.

ive done extensive research on hendersons (id never heard of it) one website said it was available in asda, sainsburys etc. That is, until you get the addresses of the shops, they are all in Sheffield. Ive now done a 'product request' on my online shopping store. Waiting to hear back. Why cant it be sold anywhere but Sheffield? Do the bottles explode if they stray further than the outskirts? It comes in plastic buckets on the internet, so it must be the glass
