Don't miss Tom Hickox, definitely worth getting there early for.

Nah, support acts are always shit and not worth anybody wasting their time. Nobody's worth listening to unless they're already famous.

Absolutely correct. I'll be petting a goat during Toms set

Pub wise, I meant more afterwards - want to take advantage of the babysitter

Just heard from someone at the gig that they've done Rockabilly Radio - hope we get that at Somerset House!!!

It was very good Denise. Actually it was a really lovely evening - good weather, good music and a lovely atmosphere. The sound was brilliant for a tent in a park. The beer ran out early but didn't detract from a jolly good time had by all.

Thank you so much Richard and the guys, I can honestly say that was one of the best Hawley gigs I've seen and I've seen a few :D

Nice long set with a few surprises - Johnny Wood on double base was a superb touch and added that little extra to Serious and the debut of Rockabilly Radio.

The guys on stage were obviously having a good time, especially Richard who extended Down in the Woods quite considerably :D

I'm still buzzing, can't wait till tomorrow night!

Was lovely to see Noblebones and meet a few new people - and thanks Moira for the lift home, much appreciated especially as I'm still a stranger to most of Sheffield

Brilliant performance from Richard and the lads as always. Hearing Rockabilly Radio live for the first time was a definite higlight as were There's A Storm A'Coming, Down In The Woods, Serious and of course The Ocean. Dedicating Seek It to murdered church organist Alan Greaves was a lovely touch, and it's always nice to be reminded that the red flag used to fly above the town hall 8)

First time of seeing RH live last night, wasn't disappointed ..> <*> Great event at Graves Park, well organised and free parking! Thank goodness the beer did run out early, as security had to deal with some blokes who didn't know their limits and I was sprayed with their dregs. A tribute to Alan Greaves and dedication was unexpected and was very touching to those of us that remember him in High Green. Richard, you are very humble and gracious to your audience and always in touch with your roots - I doubt there is anyone in the public eye that has achieved that to the same level.... seems like I'm about to present an award for the artist with the most talent and humility, well if there was one you'd be my favourite :P All the best for your touring. K

Was Johnny on bass for the full set? Where was Colin?

Colin was there. They just expanded - probably due to the heat!
