Current BBC4 tv comedy series which I highly recommend. Title implies a geeky storyline but is actually charming and very funny and moves along at a nice easy pace.

Written and directed by Mackenzie Crook who also stars alongside the brilliant Toby Jones.

Last episode tonight but I think all previous 5 episodes still on I Player.

Agreed. A bit of bittersweet comedy/drama

Perfect, gentle, subtle humour. Looking forward to seeing Toby Jones as Capt. Mainwaring. Brilliant actor, should get an award for his roll as Martin in Marvellous.

I find the prospect of a remade, reimagined, or whatever bollocks they'll call it, Dad's Army horrific.

Re Dads Army [new film] I think the casting is inspired - I just hope the story line is likewise.

It's a frightening thought. But can't ignore it, we will have to go and see it. Maybe it will be fine, hopefully as so many good actors have signed up, the script will worthy. Huge boots to fill though

The casting needs some kind of voodoo ritual, not inspiration. If it's not Arthur Lowe et al it doesn't stand a chance of being a piss poor pastiche that would struggle to give even ITV's sitcoms a run for their money. Some things should just be left well alone. If it ain't broke...
