I'm a fairly recent convert to Richard (around 2011), but have since devoured everything, seen live regularly... and Christ, my wife and I even had Serious as our wedding first dance.

But that disclaimer aside, can I just put on record my sheer sense of awe with the new album. It's wonderful. Every note, lyric and harmony has been pored over and cared for, and it shows. The recurring image of Richard and Shez in the garden shed just adds to the sense of a lovingly crafted series of utterly beautiful songs.

I hate to single out, but special mentions must go to I Still Want You, Tuesday PM, Sometimes I Feel and Long Time Down. But then I could list them all.

Well done Richard. See you at the Albert Hall.

If you feel inclined you can join the discussion of the new album here, in the already existing thread. ♤

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.
