Just seen in Time Out that Guy Garvey's been announced as the curator of next year's Meltdown Festival at the Southbank. Great news.

Quote from his interview in today's Time Out "look at the name Meltdown. It's not called 'stuffy and inaccessible'. It should be fun. It should be a load of people getting together. It should be a fucking mess! I want things that go 'bang!' things that flash, things that make people jump with delight and things that make people happy"

Can't wait!!

(Wonder if our Richard might make an appearance?)

Had a feeling he might be there. Looking forward to seeing I Am Kloot again. I've got tickets for a few nights and I might even partake in a bit of Northern Soul after Guy's performance!

After the brilliant, ear splitting performance from Lift to Experience on Friday I'm off for a more mellow evening with I am Kloot tonight. Busy week ahead!

I Am Kloot last night, fantatsic with the 8 string, 4 brass and harpist playing with them. A real top quality night. Great on the way out of London to see the number of buildings lit up in support of the victims of Orlando. ..>
