Thanks friends. It's been a rough couple of weeks but we are hanging in and not giving up. There's 2 1/2 million uncounted votes in California, slowly being counted and Bernie has flipped four counties so far. I'm confident he will overtake her when the votes are counted. I thought I was as disgusted as I can get by the mainstream media and the Clinton campaign and the DNC election fraud, but it just got so much worse than we could have imagined and it's turned into a preemptive coronation. And there have been a ton of people throwing her their support and endorsements and that has really hurt. Some of whom you expected, some of whom you didn't. It all hurts.

The point is, she doesn't have the votes. This will be decided on the floor of the convention. After that, Bernie's got plans up his sleeve to get on the ballot in the general election. And after that turns out however it turns out, we will never stop fighting for progressive issues and candidates now. People have woken up. Never gving in, like your man Churchill said.

And then there is this horrific mass shooting in Orlando, in which friends of friends have died and/or are missing. And the requisite thoughts and prayers but lack of action that comes with it. So there's that.

My beer and weed consumption is up is what I'm saying.

Good times.

5 years ago, my Gran passed away on Christmas Day - a date we're not likely to forget. Today my dad made his exit on Father's day. He's probably up somewhere on the astral plane rock'n'rolling with my mum who passed on 5th May. He requested "Gone Fishing" by Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong for his funeral (He was a seriously good angler was my dad). Add to that Frankie Laine and some Ted Hawkins and he'll be having a fine musical send-off.

My condolences to you.

Thanks all - I've spent today with my sister going through my dad's stuff and it's been cathartic and useful. Just weeks of paperwork and a funeral to go through now - but, as we joked, we at least know the routine...
