We have a dispute in our house. Other half has Lexit (exit from a left view) sympathies. But the kids are waging ideological warfare on him... And his dinner is in the dog (well, it would be if we had one). Xx

i just managed to scare the bejeezus out of myself by realising that if we do vote out, there will probably be a big call in other nations for exit too.

le pen's national front in france will call for it, greece probably, austria has lurched to the right, and there are right leaning groups all over europe who will be emboldened by brexit.

leaving a fractured separated europe with isolationist leaders, fighting over the scraps of capitalist economies that will be failing as financial confidence falters worldwide.

taking us right back to world wars.

a nightmare.

I also wonder what will happen in Ireland, if the UK pulls out. With Northern Ireland they would adjoin a non-EU country then. I cannot imagine that this would be of no effect to the economies of both.

Richard. Ohhhh my gawd.

I just took my mom to the dentist for a tooth extraction, and picked up a prescription for a stronger pain med than over the counter stuff, for when the novocaine wears off...I asked what it was and was told "Oh it's similar to Darvocet"...took a look at it after they filled it annnnnd...

...it was fucking Tramadol.

I kind of gasped a little and asked if it wasn't habit-forming. "Oh she won't be taking enough of it to worry about that"

I mean I KNOW that, right, but I am taking it away from her the second she doesn't need it!!

P.S. So my mom is 84. When we got home I started envisioning the freak scene of this little old lady hooked on Tramadol, and it honestly made me laugh out loud. It would be something else, I'm sure. Never gonna happen!
