Hello. Short term lurker; first time poster here. I just wanted to say, this time in two weeks, we'll be at t'City Hall and I'm proper giddy! I had tickets for York, but as the "friend" who came with me took 45 minutes perfecting her eyeliner, I missed half the set and was trapped at the back of Fibbers surrounded by the tallest and grumpiest people in the world, so I saw not one thing. I could have (did) burst into tears... . I was so grateful to efsb for posting such top photos from York; it looked like you had a really good time down there at the front! So, really looking forward to Sheff. Hoping for benign weather so we can make it over the Pennines in good time. x

Did you spot the download John Quays put on here for the Fibbers gig? Excellent quality recording.

Does anyone know a good pub for food not too far from De La Warr Pavillion, for Saturday night? Going to make a day of it.

Top night in Bexhill again last night. 3rd time this year as have to take the opportunity when Mr H is 'darn Sarf"! I just love this man and his band so much - uplifted and moved in equal measure and not ashamed to admit the tears flowed during 'Open up your Door' and 'The Ocean' - gets me every time. Thank you Sir - an absolute privilege to be able to see you play live.

I cannot believe I'm writing this from Liverpool and am on my way in the morning. My trip was in some doubt, then I couldn't get on to check in and catch up. Now the show is here and I will be there!

I am behind on things, so if there's any meetups, count me in. I arrive by 4PM, plenty of time.

I've got the whole next day in Sheffield, to see the city. I gave up planning anything and will see where the day takes me. Suggestions welcome!

Have just arrived! Am at the Leopold (surname Holzbaur).

My antique phone is barely working and that only on strong WiFi. If any kind souls want to say hello in Sheffield, I'm I think row CC, or ring hotel.

Bit overwhelmed and foggy!
