Does anyone know where there are still tickets available? There were some available this morning but I've just tried to book some & they seem to have sold out

I was looking forward to a 400 mile round trip & spending the weekend in the Peak District.

Thanks for the heads up on here Denise, otherwise I wouldn't have known about it until it was too late :thumright:

I would like to echo that sentiment, a big thanks for the info Denise, would have been really disappointed to have missed out on this one. ..>

Second Devils Arse gig announced:

Thanks Dawoodcock, tickets booked & glad I didn't miss out afterall ..>

It's an 8 hour round trip from here so we're going to spend the weekend exploring the Peak District. Any recommendations on places to stay & places to visit would be gratefully received :D

Although not in the Peak District I would spend some time in Buxton - not too busy [most of the time] plenty of grand buildings /parks /shops and pubs - also the Opera House was the location of the Coles Corner video.

The Monsal Trail is a walk I have wanted to do - but have never got round to it -

Thanks Poppy Dog, I've just been Googling The Monsal Trail & weather permitting I think we might have a crack at walking the full length of it. ..>

The temperature is forecast to be 2 degrees on Friday. I think one will have to invest in some thermal undergarments!

There was a live CD done from tonight's gig which people purchased before hand (£20) and collected after the gig so fingers crossed the same will happen on Sunday.

It's done by the same people who produced the last live at the Devil's Arse CD so it is bound to go on sale on their web site (there's usually a choice of download or CD).

Link to the previous CD

Loved the gig last night. Great setting and the sound was magnificent. I really enjoyed the set list with the mix of earlier and more recent songs and the acoustic arrangements worked brilliantly for the rockier numbers - turned them into a jazzy bluesy vibe. Thanks Mr Hawley and Co - just the tonic I needed after a difficult few months. x
